Why we do not charge per user
CrewSnap is one flat annual plan rather than a charge per seat. Adding a foreman does not change what you pay. This page shows the arithmetic against published per-user rates, and is honest about the case where per-seat is the cheaper answer.
You get charged for the people who need it most
A scheduling tool is worth more the more of your team can see it. The superintendent who wants tomorrow's plan, the foreman checking who is on their crew, the PM looking two weeks out. Under a per-seat model every one of those people has a line item, so the tool is at its most expensive exactly where it is most useful.
Published rates, from Projul's construction software pricing guide, current as of February 2026:
$39 per user per month, billed annually
$64 per user per month, billed annually
$89 per user per month, billed annually
roughly $25 to $35 per user per month
$199 per month for the first user, plus $20 per month for each additional user
$249 per month for one user, plus $60 per month per additional user

What that looks like as a crew grows
Take the published rates above and apply them to a team of 25 people who all need access:
- At $39 per user per month, 25 users is $975 per month, or $11,700 a year.
- At $64 per user per month, 25 users is $1,600 per month, or $19,200 a year.
- At $199 for the first user plus $20 for each additional user, 25 users is $679 per month, or $8,148 a year.
The point is not the specific totals, which will differ from your quote. It is the shape: under per-seat pricing the line goes up every time you add somebody, and the decision about who gets access quietly becomes a budget decision. A flat plan takes that decision off the table. See what CrewSnap costs →
When flat pricing is the wrong choice
If you are a two or three person operation, a per-seat tool will almost certainly cost you less, and you should buy the cheaper thing. Flat annual pricing only starts to pay off once enough people need access that the per-seat line is climbing. There is a crossover point, and below it we are not the right answer.
CrewSnap is also not unique in pricing this way. Projul publishes annual plans with no per-user fees as well. If the pricing model is what matters to you, compare more than one.
Common questions
Why does per-user pricing matter more in construction than elsewhere?
Because the people who most need to see the schedule are the ones you add last. Foremen, superintendents, and project managers all benefit from access, and under a per-seat model each one has a price attached. The result is that the tool works best for the people least likely to be given a licence.
Is CrewSnap the only flat-priced option?
No. Projul, for example, publishes annual plans and describes them as having no per-user fees. Flat pricing is a model, not a unique feature, and it is worth comparing more than one.
When is per-user pricing the better deal?
When you have very few users. A two or three person operation paying per seat will usually pay less than any flat annual plan, and should. Flat pricing only starts to win once the number of people who need access grows.
How current are the competitor figures on this page?
They are taken from a published pricing guide current as of February 2026 and are linked to their source. Software pricing moves, so treat them as a starting point and confirm directly with any vendor before making a decision.
